    Black and White

Any original or reproduced image—generated either photographically, digitally, manually, or by other means—comprising only a single color (black) on a white background, as distinguished from a color image, which contains one or more colors in addition to black. Also known as monochromatic. In common parlance, black and white is also used to refer to an image which also contains grays or, in other words, no chromatic colors.
