    Chromaticity

The color quality of a visual impulse (i.e., light) described only in terms of its dominant hue (or wavelength) and its saturation, without needing to take into account the value—or brightness—of the color. When describing light, chromaticity refers to the proportions of two of the three primary colors that constitute a particular color. See CIE Color Space.
