    Cine-Oriented Image

An image printed on microfilm in a way that is analogous to the way a movie is printed on film, an image (or frame) being oriented at a 45o angle to the direction of film travel, each successive frame essentially "beneath" the preceding frame. See also Comic-Strip-Oriented Image.
