    Copper Ferrocyanide Pink

An organic color pigment used in printing inks. Copper Ferrocyanide Pink is used as a substitute for the Rhodamine 6G double and triple salts, as its color is very similar, and is less expensive. It possesses less lightfastness, however, and less resistance to solvents and heat. It has low resistance to acids, alkalis, and soaps, but is stronger tinctorially. It has good flow and workability characteristics, and is often used for inexpensive bright shades. (See also Organic Color Pigments.)

('CI Pigment Red 169 No. 45160:2'.)
