    Display PostScript

A version of the PostScript page description language that translates PostScript code to graphics and text which can be displayed on a computer monitor, facilitating the editing of PostScript files. On most computers, a file is not converted to PostScript until output, in which case errors in the PostScript code will necessitate the editing of the original file and re-translating it to PostScript. Display PostScript allows direct correction of the PostScript code. However, due to the high processing power required to use Display PostScript, it is only possible on high-end prepress systems. See PostScript.
