    Full-Scale Black

A black printer—or keycolor separation which contains the full range of tonal gradations, from white highlights to dark shadows. Consequently, dots are printed in every part of the image, as opposed to the half-scale black. See Half-Scale Black. Full-scale black is also known as full-range black.
