    Referring to a database that contains entire documents as opposed to citations or abstract representations.

    Referring to the complete retrieval of a document, so that every word is searchable in the inverted index.

    Referring to the complete copy of an article, report, or other document that has been found in a bibliographic database search.

    A communications form in which cannels are opened in both directions between the communicating parties at the same time, allowing both to send and receive. Also used to indicate whether a terminal is to "echo" a keyed character. In full-duplex asynchronous environments, a computer echoes the characters keyed, causing them to be displayed. In half-duplex environments, the channel from computer to terminal is not available during terminal transmission, so the terminal itself must display the character.
