    Gallium Arsenide

    A crystalline and highly toxic semiconductor compund, chemical symbol GaAs, used in lasers, LEDs, and other electronic devices. GaAs is also used to make computer chips, which results in microprocessors that are faster and require less power than traditional silicon.
