    Green Book

In multimedia, a set of standards developed by Philips for the compact disc format known as compact disc-interactive. The Green Book standard (so-named because the publication containing the specifications had a green cover) describes the structure of the disc, the steps required to produce a CD-i application, the recording equipment, and the playback equipment. See Compact Disc-Interactive and Compact Disc.
