    Interleaving

    In printing, the insertion of slip sheets between prints as they come off press. See Interleave (first definition).

    In computing, the term interleaving refers to the division of a computer's dynamic random access memory (known as DRAM) into separate memory "banks" as a means of enhancing system performance. See Interleaved Memory.
