    Jaw Fold

    On a web press, a fold made by a jaw folder. A jaw fold is created as the paper web travels around a cylinder, where it is tucked into a set of jaws on a second cylinder by a tucker blade. A jaw fold is usually at right angles to the former fold. If a second jaw fold is made, two parallel folds are the result. A jaw fold is also known as a tucker fold.
