    One segment of corporate publishing. This segment has evolved from the integration of word processing, data processing, and business graphics production. Its main function is to serve the information needs and support the organizational activities of professionals, managers, and executives in the office environment. This segment is typified by the production of short documents of diverse nature (e.g., reports, memos, business proposals, and limited-circulation newsletters).
