    Rotary Printing

Any type of printing in which the substrate is passed between two cylinders, one of which is the image carrier. In most printing processes, rotary presses are more desirable than flatbed presses, as it is easier to generate the required uniform printing pressure in the nip between two cylinders than all across the surface of a flat platen.
