    Roto News Paper

A heavily calendered and/or supercalendered, mechanical pulp-based paper used for rotogravure printing, primarily of newspaper supplements and magazine sections. Roto news paper is similar to newsprint, but is manufactured to possess the adequate levels of ink receptivity, ink holdout, compressibility, and softness required for rotogravure printing.
