    Tusche-and-Glue

    In screen printing, a printing screen made manually by drawing on the screen fabric with tusche, coating the opposite side of the fabric with a water-soluble glue, and dissolving the tusche with mineral spirits. The tusche is placed in the printing portion(s) of the design, which, after dissolving, are now open.
