    Warping

    In binding and finishing, a defewct of binder's boards characterized by edges that have expanded to a greater degree than the center, resulting in wavy edges or similar structural defects. Usually caused by moisture or stress.

    In graphics, warping refers to the transformation of an image in such a way that the size of one dimension (such as height) is altered to a different extent than the other dimension (such as width). The result is an image that is distorted.
