    In three-dimensional graphics, a 3D image represented by a series of line segments—resembling pieces of wire—that outline the surface of the shape. Wireframe models are the least processor-intensive mode of 3D graphics. Final rendering adds surface, texture, and lighting effects to the wireframe.
